PROMOTION
A major multi-faceted promotional campaign is being undertaken to launch FREDDIE as an important new children's character.
Author Jackie Byrne and illustrator Marko will be appearing at various book signings nationwide in the next few months. If you would be interested in them appearing FREE in your shop, please contact us for further information.
Jackie will be at the CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL of LITERATURE from October 10th-19th and FREDDIE books will be available for sale in the festival bookshop.
Hundreds of press releases are being sent out to national and regional newspapers
Local and national TV and radio stations are being contacted to encourage interviews with Jackie & Marko
All major women's magazines are being sent information about the book and it's author. Her story (a mother of five with no academic background who now has both a degree and a book in print) should be of interest in its inspirational nature.
All major wholesalers are being approached to stock the books
A sales representative will be making calls on hundreds of independent bookshops nationwide in the next month to drum up interest
The motoring press will be targeted -Freddie is a car after all!
