JACKIE BYRNE
Freddie's adventures are told by author Jackie Byrne who, although now settled in Gloucester, England, has also lived in Germany, Singapore and Gibraltar. She recently gained an English/history degree at Cheltenham College of Higher Education after passing an Access to Higher Education course at Gloucester College of Arts and Technology. Jackie has five children who have, in the past, supplied plenty of material for a book about misadventures. Besides writing fiction Jackie also writes poetry and is a keen artist. Freddie's Christmas is her first book in print and three more are due to be published in 2004.
